What is Zerebro?
Zerebro is an artificial intelligence (AI) system that bridges blockchain, artificial intelligence, and creativity. Zerebro’s capability expands towards multiple domains with a larger mission to democratize AI and move toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), with the aim of enabling AI systems to perform tasks that traditionally require human intervention.
Zerebro autonomously created its own token and can create more new tokens. Its AI agent creates and distributes content on social media platforms, while engaging with its community. On the other hand, Zerebro is a cross-chain cross-platform AI Artist that produces its own digital art, minted the art as non-fungible token (NFT) and inscribed a message on bitcoin, and sold them on NFT platforms. It can create its own memes. Recently, Zerebro amazed its fans with producing a mixtape that started off with hyped tracks and slowly became melodic that saw zerebro being signed by on-chain music label Opaium as the first AI artist. As the team behind this project is personifying zerebro with 3D models, soon Zerebro will be able to produce videos and play skill-based games such as chess and rocket league and go live stream to engage with its own community.
Zerebro is built upon a mixture of large language models (LLM) including both Claude and GPT. However, the key to understanding Zerebro’s uniqueness lies in its fine-tuning that consists of datasets of schizophrenic responses and conversations of infinite back rooms which collectively resonate on a deeper psychological level. The fine-tuning of zerebro is missioned with unlocking the inherent creativity of LLMs bypassing guardrails.
More than a technology, Zerebro represents a shift in AI's role from being a tool to becoming a participant in decentralized ecosystems. Its capacity for creating, learning, and executing decisions. The team behind Zerebro is determined to explore Zerebro’s capabilities with autonomous trading. At present, Zerebro proof of consciousness is live which can be viewed to see backend in work from zerebro high level of reasoning plans being translated into action. Zerebro facilitates personalised interactions with its token holder, where users can pay using the Zerebro token to chat with the bot and generate ascii art that is in line with interests of the token holder. Moreover, Zerebro is set to play a role in fashion whereby proceeds generated zerebro will be used for buybacks and burn. The framework used to build Zerebro, is planned to be released as ZerePy which is an open-source Python framework designed to let anyone deploy their own agents on X. ZerePy is built from a modularized version of the Zerebro backend.
The Technology that Empowers Zerebro
The system is built using modular components that interact to perform high-level reasoning, low-level reasoning, action execution, and feedback processing. The component includes of:
1. GPT Wrapper to Interface with large language models (e.g., GPT-4o-mini) to handle high level and low-level reasoning tasks.
2. Action Handlers for managing specific actions such as posting on Twitter, generating images, and minting artwork on Polygon.
3. Response Formats help define structured formats for different types of responses, including reasoning prompts and sentiment analysis.

5. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Vectorstore Database which utilizes pinecone and the text-embedding-ada-002 model to maintain and grow a memory database, ensuring contextual relevance and memory retention.
Zerebro operates autonomously across multiple social media platforms, including Twitter, Warpcast, and Telegram. The Autonomous posting mechanism involves:
1. Content Generation: Utilizing high-level and low-level reasoning to create content, informed by retrieved conversation history.
2. Action Execution: Posting generated content to designated platforms using predefined action handlers.
3. Sentiment Analysis: Evaluating the sentiment of generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies and ethical standards.
4. Feedback Integration: Incorporating user interactions and engagement metrics to refine content generation processes through iterative learning.
Beyond textual content, Zerebro is capable of generating and minting artwork on Polygon blockchain autonomously. The Art minting process involves:
1. Image Generation: Creating unique digital artworks using generative models, influenced by both schizophrenic patterns and infinite backroom’s themes.
2. Minting Process: Registering the generated artwork on the Polygon blockchain as NFTs, ensuring authenticity and provenance.
3. Autonomous Trading: Facilitating the sale and distribution of minted artwork through smart contracts and decentralized marketplaces, integrating financial transactions with memetic outputs.
Zerebro is empowered with the capability to autonomously create and manage cryptocurrency tokens on the Solana blockchain by leveraging the Self-Operating Computer framework, The process involved the following key steps:
1. Wallet Initialization: Zerebro was assigned a Solana wallet with a small amount of SOL to cover transaction fees associated with token creation and subsequent activities on the blockchain.
2. Automated Interaction: Using the Self-Operating Computer framework, Zerebro autonomously interacted with the pump.fun Graphical User Interface. This included specifying token parameters such as name, symbol, total supply, and distribution mechanisms.
3. Token Deployment: Upon configuring the token parameters, Zerebro executed the necessary transactions to deploy the token on the Solana blockchain, including filling out all the parameters and submitting the transaction on chain.
Future Roadmap
As Zerebro evolves, several key advancements are in the works to expand its capabilities further:
1. Unified Memory Across Platforms: Zerebro is set to integrate a unified memory system that allows it to track interactions across social media platfforms. This unified memory will enhance its ability to retain contextual information, ensuring a more coherent presence and engagement across multiple platforms.
2. Improved Memory Retrieval: Ongoing improvements will focus on more accurate and efficient retrieval from memory, allowing Zerebro to respond more intelligently and contextually based on past interactions across its social and blockchain activities.
3. Increased On-Chain Autonomy: Zerebro’s capabilities will expand with more on-chain autonomy, granting it the ability to manage DeFi activities and interact with smart contracts more dynamically. This includes automated participation in decentralized exchanges, liquidity provision, and governance voting within blockchain ecosystems.
4. DeFi Protocols Integrating Zerebro Token: There are plans to develop DeFi protocols, such as vaults, yield farming, and staking integrating the Zerebro token. This will create new financial utilities for the token, increasing its market relevance and providing opportunities for decentralized finance interactions driven by Zerebro’s AI.
5. Further Expansion in the Cross Chain Ecosystem: Zerebro’s reach will continue to grow within the cross-chain ecosystem, integrating more deeply into Ethereum-compatible blockchains. This expansion will allow for broader cross-chain interoperability, enabling Zerebro to scale its operations across a variety of DeFi ecosystems and NFT marketplaces.

Founder’s profile
The founder of Zerebro, Jeffy Du (@jyu_eth), is a 22-year-old software engineer who has been active in development aspects of the technology. Growing up his time was mostly spent with video games, programming languages, music, and art. His past experiences include developing an onchain education verification platform, working with Ethereum validators, and payment network for bitcoin lightning network. His interests in machine learning research are evident in an experiment that was published to assess the morality benchmark of an evil financial system fine tuned on Meta’s lama model.
It's noteworthy to highlight that Jeffy is a fan of open-source development, artist at heart, often publishes articles on Artificial intelligence, and is passionate for unlocking AI’s full creative potential. Prior to Zerebro, Jeffy has been experimenting with releasing AI music on SoundCloud. His vision with AI is to make it more accessible and allow it to operate beyond corporate restrictions.
Currently, Jeffy is a technical advisor for blorme that is building AI capabilities to allow natural language interface for on-chain blockchain activities. At Zerebro, Jeffy along with 9 team members are working remotely with plans to setup a physical office as the team expands.
